Staying Fit and Living Trendy – Here are some Tricks!
As Mary Lambert says, the time has come for us women to reclaim our bodies. For a very long time, women have been told the way they should look and act, and it’s about time that becomes a thing of the past. For a woman to be powerful and self-sufficient, she needs to be strong, fit and living her best life. But we live a very fast life and we need to find ways to get through life as best as we can with limited resources. So, here are some practical tips on how to a be a woman that kick ass and lives her life to the fullest.

Put your health first

When talking about living a full life, we can’t skip talking about health. When you are ill to a point where you can’t take care of yourself, you can’t be fully independent and live your best life. And we have to remember that nobody is perfectly healthy, and that even if you have a chronic illness, you should do your best to be as healthy and able as you can. If you work out and eat right, there’s a much better reason why you should be doing that than just looking a certain way. Having your health in check will allow you to focus on other things, but this means not being afraid to go to the doctor when there is a problem, and visiting them once per year for a check-up.

Stay active

It is so easy to fall into an enchanted circle of not doing anything because you’re feeling too lazy or you simply don’t have to do anything. But you need to keep in mind that you can’t have a happy life with a sense of purpose if you’re not actively doing anything. For starters, you need to physically get up and get active. If you don’t have a lot of time, you can get some amazing exercise equipment for you and your home, like a standing bike, treadmill or simply a set of weights that will help you get moving and get active without even leaving your home. The second step is being active on other levels: maintaining social relationships, pursuing a career or life goal and exploring the world around you.

Embrace your feelings

There is so much pressure on women to confirm or dismantle stereotypes about themselves, but we need to realize that there is nothing wrong with embracing all of your feeling and elements. For starters, you have the right to embrace your sexuality, and a great way to do that is to be in an environment that supports you in that and where you can meet like-minded women – the perfect example for this being pole dance classes. It’s not only great exercise, but a way to explore your sensual side in a safe place. You also have the right to cry and to be passionate about something without being called “hysterical” and you most definitely have the right to your interests, whether or not they fall into “ladylike” behaviors.

The most important thing you need to do is to realize your worth. You don’t owe this world to be a good mother, a good wife or a world-class anything. You are the one that sets your own goals and the only person you answer to is yourself. Set your own priorities in life and make sure that taking care of yourself is at the top of the list. You’re capable of doing amazing things, you just need to see it and start acting on it. Nothing happens without hard work, so roll up your sleeves and be prepared to commit to make your dreams come true.
